Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Lead Networking Engineer to provide expert input on LAN/WAN installations and support, including design enhancements for remote facilities. The role requires a strong base in routing and switching, cloud experience (AWS or Azure), and F5 load balancers.

The candidate will lead design projects, resolve complex networking problems, perform root cause analysis, and maintain project documentation.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of related networking experience or an advanced degree with discounted years of experience.
• CCNA is required; CCIE certification is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to travel 25% within US/EMEA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering of network solutions for LAN/WAN upgrades.
• Provide direction and SME input to resolve complex networking issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and determine corrective actions.
• Ensure timely implementation of resolutions and changes.
• Create and maintain network design documentation and project records.
• Collaborate with teams to collect network and project data.
