Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Lead Networking Engineer to provide expert input on LAN/WAN installations and support, including design enhancements for remote facilities. The role requires a strong base in routing and switching, cloud experience (AWS or Azure), and F5 load balancers.

The candidate will lead design projects, resolve complex networking problems, perform root cause analysis, and maintain project documentation.

Qualificações

• 8–12 years of related networking experience or an advanced degree with discounted years of experience.
• CCNA is required; CCIE certification is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to travel 25% within US/EMEA.

This is a full-time, REMOTE opportunity with 25% travel required within the US and EMEA.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The Lead Networking Engineer utilizes in-depth knowledge of local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) to provide expert input regarding the installation and support of the network data communications systems, playing a leading role within the data communications department relative to network design enhancements and support for communication links to remote facilities.

We’re seeking a candidate who is flexible and can change with shifting priorities, who has a strong background in base networking, routing and switching, who has cloud background with AWS or Azure, and expertise with F5 load balancer.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as team lead for the design and engineering of network solutions and upgrades, administration and maintenance of Fresenius Medical Care LAN and WAN data communication systems ensuring effective and efficient operations:
• Provide direction and subject matter expertise in the analysis and resolution of complex networking problems.
• Provide root cause evaluation and analysis with an in-depth knowledge of factors involved and determines the appropriate course of action.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree required; Advanced Degree preferred

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 8 - 12 years' related experience; or a Master's degree with 6 years' experience; or a PhD with 3 years' experience; or equivalent directly related work experience.
• CCNA required.
• Desire to become CCIE certified preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize workflow and issues.
• Ability to travel 25% within the US and EMEA as required

The rate of pay for this position will depend on the successful candidate’s work location and qualifications, including relevant education, work experience, skills, and competencies.
Annual Rate: $131.9k - 219.8k
