Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in STEM with 5+ years of engineering experience; MS with 3 years; PhD with 1 year.
• Experience implementing sensor fusion for navigation using IMU, GPS, barometers and other sensors.
• Experience with state-estimation algorithms such as EKF, UKF, PF for position, velocity, and attitude.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret security clearance; onsite Beavercreek, OH.

Responsibilities

• Analyze navigation performance in lab and flight test scenarios.
• Communicate status, issues, and results with program management and customers.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to develop advanced navigation technologies.
• Work with a team of navigation and timing experts to advance the state of the art.
• Present ideas to internal and external groups and represent Northrop Grumman at conferences and working groups.
