Job summary

Xometry is seeking a Senior Principal, Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence to lead large, cross-functional ML/AI initiatives that drive revenue growth and cost efficiency. You will own an 18–24 month technical roadmap, balancing breakthrough innovation with practical value delivery across quoting, lead time, and quality assurance.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years in ML/AI, deep expertise in TensorFlow/PyTorch, cloud platforms, and experience shipping production systems.

Qualifications

Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, ML, or related field; PhD preferred for deep generative/3D modeling emphasis.
12+ years of professional ML/AI experience, with several years in senior/principal roles.
Experience architecting end-to-end ML/AI solutions from data to deployment and operations.
Strong exposure to TensorFlow, PyTorch, cloud platforms, and scalable production systems.

Responsibilities

Serve as technical leader for large cross-functional ML/AI initiatives with lasting business impact.
Define and drive an 18–24 month ML/AI roadmap balancing innovation with value delivery.
Influence roadmaps across engineering, product, operations, and business leadership.
Mentor teams and act as SME shaping ML/AI infrastructure, data, models, and tooling decisions.
Identify opportunities to drive revenue growth, cost savings, and efficiency improvements.
