Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. Power Management division is seeking an experienced Top-level Design Verification Engineer to create next-generation PMIC designs for Mobile, Consumer, IOT, and Industrial applications. The role emphasizes mixed-signal verification, robust test plans, and strong customer collaboration.

Hybrid position with onsite days at Richardson, TX or San Jose, CA. Requires 15+ years in AMS design/verification and expertise in UVM, Spice/Spectre, and VerilogAMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with AMS focus.
• 15+ years in AMS design or verification.
• Proficiency in UVM environments with test cases and coverage.
• Experience with power-management blocks (LDO, DC-DC, Bandgaps).
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as customer-facing for catalog and custom PMICs.
• Develop and execute metric-driven verification plans.
• Develop constrained random tests and checkers in UVM.
• Build RNM/VerilogAMS models to support TL simulation.
• Collaborate with design/test teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure device first-pass testability.
• Continuously improve verification methodologies.
• Automate verification tasks where applicable.
