This role drives design reviews, analyses, and manufacturing readiness while mentoring engineers and advancing reusable design methods, with exposure to global teams and impact on rotating equipment performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering/technical roles with strong competency in mechanical design.
• Demonstrated experience leading the technical delivery of complex mechanical products from concept through validation and production implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex mechanical designs, assemblies, components, and interfaces from concept through production release.
• Serve as a technical authority for mechanical products across development, cost optimization, reliability improvement, and lifecycle initiatives.
• Define and communicate mechanical architecture, design requirements, interface definitions, and verification strategies for complex programs.
• Lead the technical execution of mechanical design projects including requirements development, concept generation, detailed design, analysis, prototyping, verification, and production release.
• Create and review 3D models, drawings, BOMs, tolerance schemes, and design documentation per standards.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for complex design, manufacturing, and field issues.
