Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems- Propulsion Division seeks a Principal/Senior Principal Maintenance Reliability Engineer to lead reliability and lifecycle management for automated equipment at the Promontory, Utah facility. Travel to multiple campuses is expected, with on-site work required.

The role focuses on developing monitoring strategies, optimizing maintenance, and delivering OEE and cost-effective spare parts plans to support 24/7 production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, manufacturing engineering or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience with manufacturing processes, equipment or facilities maintenance.
• Experience with CMMS/EAM and data analysis of equipment failures.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical leader for reliability, performance, and lifecycle management of automated electrical/electromechanical equipment.
• Develop and implement machine monitoring strategies to predict failures before they occur.
• Review manufacturing equipment and control logic; ensure preventive and predictive maintenance procedures are in place.
• Prepare presentations and reports detailing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and spare parts strategy.
