Cadence’s Tensilica Products Group is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to design, build, and improve our processor generator, processing systems, and supporting infrastructure in California. You will work across the full product life cycle—from analyzing user needs to delivering control components, backend systems, and automated tests.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science or related field with significant experience.
• Experience with Java, Perl, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript and shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain control systems for build systems and infrastructure.
• Develop and evolve SQL/NoSQL databases to support product functionality.
• Build web REST API servlets and web applications for customers and internal use.
• Collaborate across teams to streamline delivery and management systems.
• Engineer tests and integrate features into new releases.
