Job summary

Cadence Design Systems seeks a senior software engineer to design and maintain control systems for build pipelines and infrastructure. You will implement web REST services, manage release branches in Perforce and Git, and design databases to support product functionality.

The role requires strong programming skills in Java, Perl, JavaScript, TypeScript and Python, with experience in Tomcat, Jenkins, and Grafana.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with extensive software development experience.
• Strong programming skills across Java, Perl, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python and shells.
• Experience in building database-driven production systems and RESTful web services.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain control systems for build pipelines and associated infrastructure.
• Develop web REST API servlets for remote product functionality and data interaction.
• Manage release branches in Perforce and Git; evolve SQL/NoSQL databases for product needs.
