Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Principal Integration & Test Engineer for our Rolling Meadows, IL site. You will lead test programs for complex electronics from hardware and software design through aircraft installation, ensuring systems work properly and reliably.

The role requires 8+ years (BS) or 6+ years (MS) of related experience, strong leadership, and the ability to work with DOORS, VCRMs, and scripting languages. US citizenship and Secret clearance are required.

Competenze

• BS or higher in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field with 8+ years of related experience; MS with 6+ years; PhD with 4+ years.
• Experience leading a team across multiple disciplines under cost and schedule constraints.
• Experience performing Design Verification Tests, Environmental Qualification Testing, and EMI Qualification Testing.
• Working knowledge of DOORS and Verification Cross Reference Matrices (VCRMs).
• Experience in documenting, testing, and troubleshooting integrated hardware/software/firmware for production systems.
• Experience creating and delivering technical presentations.
• Ability and willingness to work independently with little oversight or direction.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Secret (or higher) clearance.

• Lead integration test programs and evaluate complex electronics systems from hardware/software design through installation to ensure proper operation.
• Develop test plans, procedures, reports, and automate tests in SILs or offsite locations.
