Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Senior Principal Test Design Hardware Engineer to lead hardware design across analog, power, and digital domains. You will work with a diverse team on console, interface, and RF modules, ensuring rigorous verification and integration with software components.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a STEM field with extensive hardware experience, ability to obtain a US Secret Clearance, and a proactive approach to design challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM; 8+ years of experience in related field or advanced degree with fewer years.
• Ability to obtain/maintain US Secret Clearance and SAP access.
• Experience in hardware design and mixed-signal hardware design.
• Experience with panel design, cable design, and schematic layouts.
• Experience with lab test equipment (Network Analyzers, DMM, O-Scopes).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop HW solutions with a team of engineers.
• Perform HW/SW integration and verification activities.
• Support investigation and resolution of product anomalies.
• Understand Design to Cost, Scope and Schedule constraints.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure robust hardware designs.
