Qualifications

• 15+ years of embedded software/firmware experience.
• Deep expertise in coherent optical module firmware (400ZR/800ZR).
• Strong bootloader design and firmware upgrade mechanisms.
• SoC-based embedded platform experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Experience delivering end-to-end programs from alpha to GA.
• Hands-on debugging across hardware/firmware boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Own firmware development lifecycle from architecture to production release.
• Lead program efforts across bring-up, calibration, validation, and customer milestones.
• Design features such as hitless upgrades, CMIS, bootloader architecture.
• Collaborate with DSP, hardware, ATE and test teams to resolve system issues.
• Support customer engagements with robust firmware solutions meeting hyperscaler requirements.
• Shape firmware architecture and release processes across the platform.
• Mentor engineers and share technical knowledge.
