Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 12–20 years of experience in field applications, system, or product engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Ethernet and PCIe, SerDes, link training, interoperability, and compliance.
• Strong understanding of physical-layer concepts and signal integrity.
• Proven ability to lead complex customer escalations and communicate clearly.
• Ability to work onsite in San Jose and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements from architecture definition through deployment and production support.
• Own customer escalations and drive timely, measurable resolutions.
• Present design recommendations and tradeoffs to customer teams.
• Develop system-level debug plans for Ethernet and PCIe connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with sales and product management to capture requirements.
• Create technical collateral and enablement materials for customers and internal teams.
• Mentor Field Applications Engineers and improve onboarding processes.
