Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Principal Execution Lead for the Advanced Technology SBU, based onsite in Tucson, AZ. You will guide cross-functional engineering teams to deliver complex test systems through design, development, integration, and verification.

You will collaborate with CAMs/PMO/IPT leadership, manage schedules, risks, and Earned Value milestones, and ensure alignment with IMS/IMP across contracts. A DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 8+ years of relevant experience, or 10+ years with a non-advanced degree.
• Experience leading production test systems development, including hardware/software development, integration, verification, and validation (V&V).
• Experience with project cost and schedule management on EV programs.
• Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional, factory-focused engineering teams to execute the full test system lifecycle (design, development, integration, sell-off).
• Support factory leads in day-to-day technical execution of Earned Value work packages, ensuring task clarity and IMS alignment.
• Conduct 30/60/90-day look-ahead reviews with leads; manage risks and maintain execution cadence.
• Lead efforts across multiple capital projects including common CGS.
• Coordinate with CAMs and PMO/IPT leadership to align plans, deliverables, and milestones.
