Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Principal Execution Lead for the Advanced Technology (AT) SBU in Tucson, AZ. This 100% onsite role guides cross-functional engineering teams through the full test system lifecycle—from design and development to integration and final sell-off—on production test systems and EV programs.

The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship. It offers relocation assistance and a clear path for long-term growth within RTX’s mission to defend national security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required; 10+ years’ experience or 8+ years with advanced degree.
• Experience leading production test systems development (HW/SW, integration, V&V).
• Experience with project cost and schedule management on EV programs.
• Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional, factory-focused engineering teams through the full test system lifecycle (design, development, integration, sell-off).
• Support factory leads in day-to-day technical execution of EV work packages; ensure task clarity and IMS alignment.
• Conduct 30/60/90-day look-ahead reviews; identify risks and maintain execution cadence.
• Coordinate production TE scope and strategy across contracts; work with CAMs/PMO/IPT leadership.
• Communicate monthly/quarterly status with SBU TS Execution Lead; follow Test Solutions processes.
