About the Job

• Independently write estimate plans, provide status reports, prepare cost estimates, and conduct pricing analyses for projects of all sizes in the energy industry.
• Lead a team of 3-6 estimators to produce large-scale Engineer-Procure-Construct (EPC) estimates.
• Manage schedules and work hours for estimate completion.
• Mentor estimators and supervise small to medium estimates and change orders.
• Lead department initiatives on data, tools, templates, procedures, and work methods.
• Review mega projects with management and clients, and lead JV/Partner estimate reviews.

About You

We seek candidates who meet the following essential requirements:

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Aspen Capital Cost Estimator (ACCE) software.
• Experience benchmarking ACCE database and working with estimating software.
• Knowledge of key departments involved in estimating (construction, procurement, engineering, etc.).
• Experience leading estimating teams and preparing various classes of estimates (AACE Class 1-5).
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in estimating disciplines such as civil, mechanical, electrical, etc.
