Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in the Boston area seeks a Senior Principal Engineer for Systems Design/Architecture Engineering to drive high-performance RF and mixed-signal IC designs within the Industrial portfolio.

You will develop system-level architectures and collaborate with customers and internal centers-of-excellence to advance multi-GHz subsystems. The role requires a strong background in SERDES, PLLs, data converters, and CMOS processes, plus leadership and clear communication skills.

Qualifications

• BSEE required; MSEE preferred.
• 20+ years in system design/architecture for RF and mixed-signal ICs.
• Expertise in SERDES, RF CMOS, PLL, or data converters.
• Experience with FinFET or fine-line CMOS processes.

Responsibilities

• Define, prototype and implement multi-GHz digital communication/instrumentation systems.
• Lead HW/SW ecosystem definitions for new product families and customer systems.
• Perform detailed system analysis with power/cost optimization and calibration.
• Engage with customers and standards groups to identify market needs.
