Analog Devices, Inc. in Wilmington, MA seeks a Principal Engineer, Systems Design/Architecture Engineering with high-speed, fine-line analog CMOS experience to drive IC development of new products.

You will lead complex system designs on chiplets and collaborate closely with a seasoned development team. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in system design and CMOS design, strong communication skills, and a track record of mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• BS EE required; MS EE preferred.
• 7+ years in system design and design integration.
• Proven high-speed CMOS and data-converter experience.
• Expertise in FinFET (16nm/5nm) or fine-line planar analog CMOS (28nm).
• Experience in SW-defined CMOS communications or radar design.
• Proficiency in digitally-assisted high-speed analog design.
• Excellent presentation and writing/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture of complex systems for high performance.
• Design wireline transmitters and receivers.
• Develop mixed-mode DFE designs.
• Apply expertise in wireline equalization (analog & digital).
• Design custom high-speed digital circuits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate designs.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Present design concepts and results to stakeholders.
