Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a senior leader to define the multi-year technical strategy for AWS billing architecture and real-time pricing platforms. You will guide cross-functional teams across AWS service lines, Marketplace, Sales, and Finance to evolve billing capabilities and pricing models with enterprise-grade reliability.

You will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and ensure scalable delivery while leveraging advances in AI to accelerate development and deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience defining and driving multi-year technical strategy across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the multi-year technical strategy for billing architecture across AWS services.
• Drive architectural decisions spanning multiple organizations to enable real-time billing platforms.
• Provide technical guidance on distributed systems, real-time processing and AI for billing workflows.
• Ensure architecture quality with scalable, high-performance designs and robust engineering practices.
• Mentor engineers across billing engineering teams and drive talent development.
