The Citi Technology Team in Rutherford, NJ is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer to establish and implement innovative tech solutions across BI, Big Data, agentic AI and ML. You will lead complex engineering initiatives and mentor engineers and analysts to deliver robust, high‑performance software at scale.

The role emphasizes architecture, design patterns, and AI-assisted development practices with a strong focus on collaboration across global teams and responsible risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in designing and delivering robust, scalable applications.
• Strong expertise in Java/J2EE, REST APIs, and web technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to a global team of software engineers and analysts.
• Ensure scalable, well-architected designs and implement AI/ML driven solutions.
