Job summary

Bosch USA is seeking a Senior Principal Engineer for ADAS & AV Data Loop & AI Flywheel to lead architectural strategy and end-to-end data engine execution powering the company’s L2+ ADAS and autonomous driving stacks across multiple vehicle platforms.

You will steer the software, data loop, and MLOps systems that ingest fleet logs, curate edge cases, auto-label datasets, retrain models, and validate releases for embedded automotive platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development and system architecture in ADAS or autonomous driving.
• Proven track record of taking AI-based L2+/L3/L4 autonomous driving systems into mass production.
• Deep knowledge of End-to-End AI architecture, model training, and data flywheel concepts.
• Proficiency with PyTorch/TensorFlow and deploying neural networks on embedded automotive hardware.
• Experience with cloud-native training infra and MLOps / CI/CD for large fleet datasets.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical roadmap and strategy for the E2E Autonomous Driving Data Engine, including fleet data loop automation and active learning pipelines.
• Oversee the architecture, development, and testing of the AI data flywheel and its interaction with edge triggers, data lakes, model repos, and target hardware.
• Collaborate with data engineering, cloud, and embedded teams to scale the AI machinery ecosystem.
• Establish a rapid-evaluation framework for benchmarking, active learning, and integration of multimodal AI solutions.
• Guide data curation and productionization of training/auto-labeling pipelines with runtime optimization on automotive hardware.
• Mentor a team of AI scientists and software engineers toward excellence in automated data engines.
