Worley Group, Inc. seeks a Senior Principal Lead Engineer - Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls in Charleston, WV. This role provides senior technical leadership across large industrial projects, from concept through commissioning, ensuring safe, reliable, and constructible facilities.

You will lead design teams, review deliverables, and coordinate with clients and stakeholders. Relocation is required; travel 15-25% to project sites and reviews. PE license in the US is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
12+ years progressive engineering experience.
Technical leadership on complex projects.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly with clients and teams.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for electrical, instrumentation, controls, and industrial communications engineering.
Oversee complete engineering design deliverables.
Prepare construction documentation including SLDs, load lists, cable schedules.
Lead system studies such as load flow, short circuit, arc flash.
Support procurement, vendor evaluations, construction and commissioning.
Mentor and guide engineers and designers.
