Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer 4 for the Automated Test Equipment group in Chandler, AZ. You will design, test, and sustain electrical ground support equipment used in vehicle integration and launch, working with a diverse engineering team.

The role requires extensive EGSE/ATE experience, strong electrical engineering fundamentals, and the ability to lead and mentor other engineers. Applicants should be eligible for a U.S.

Qualifications

• 8 years with a Bachelor’s in Engineering or 5 years with a Master’s in Engineering.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Government Secret Clearance at time of application.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Proficient knowledge of electrical engineering principles.
• Design, Test, or Integration experience with EGSE or similar equipment.
• Experience with processes applicable to operating EGSE in secure environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with system electrical engineering teams on analysis, design and test of complex system level designs for EGSE and test support equipment.
• Prepare and present electrical engineering materials for Requirements and Design Reviews.
• Evaluate uncertainty and risks associated with requirements and designs.
• Mentor and cross-train team members across technologies and equipment architectures.
• Maintain safety as a top priority in all tasks.
• Provide quality internal and external customer service.
