ASD is seeking a Digital Design Engineer to join the STEWS team for design, development, and modernization of airborne RF/IR systems and flight-line test sets. You will work on FPGA-based digital subsystems, high-speed interfaces, and embedded processing throughout full life-cycle product development.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer Engineering with extensive digital electronics design experience, HDL proficiency, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or similar field with 9+ years of digital electronics design, or 7+ years with a Master’s degree.
• Extensive digital hardware circuit design experience including simulation, schematic capture, and integration.
• Ability to translate system requirements into embedded design and test specifications.
• Experience with HDL (VHDL/Verilog) and FPGA toolchains; current Secret clearance.

Responsabilités

• Design, modify, and evaluate digital electronics for hardware systems.
• Lead full life-cycle product development from concept to field support.
• Implement FPGA-based subsystems with high-speed interfaces and embedded processing.
• Develop testbenches, verify designs, and review vendor capabilities as needed.
• Collaborate across teams; mentor others and communicate across organizational levels.
