Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, CO, is seeking a Responsible Product Engineer/Certified Principal Engineer to lead advanced avionics hardware development. You will apply FPGA/ASIC design, embedded software, and systems engineering to create state-of-the-art digital processing and data handling for space systems.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience, a TS clearance, and a BS in Electrical Engineering.

Qualifications

• Experience in FPGA and/or ASIC design for avionics hardware.
• Experience with analog and digital electronics design.
• Experience performing electronics analysis (Worst Case Analysis, parts stress, FMECA).
• Current or active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Ability to communicate technical issues to peers, management and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, test, and integration of FPGA/ASIC and avionics components.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers across teams.
• Participate in design reviews, failure investigations, and verification.
• Present technical information clearly to stakeholders.
