Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant STEM field with 8+ years of experience.
• US citizenship with Secret clearance; ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• 3 years experience with 3D CAD modeling tools.
• 3 years experience developing and releasing engineering models and drawings.
• Experience modeling using CAD managed in a PLM system and creating drawings per ASME standards.
• Familiarity with GD&T interpretation and strong cross‑organization communication.

Responsibilities

• Designs major components or portions of a system to develop products and support manufacturing.
• Develops layouts and sketches to present design proposals.
• Assesses manufacturability, materials, interchangeability, and cost factors.
• Coordinates with other organizations affected by design development.
• Creates layouts of complex assemblies and detail parts.
• Identifies design issues and recommends revisions to engineers.
