Ultimate Staffing in Concord, MA, is partnering with a premier technology manufacturer to recruit a Senior Principal Design Engineer for an on-site role. You will design, develop, and support embedded systems used in advanced industrial products, with a focus on C++ and Linux-based firmware.

You will own projects from concept to implementation, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of embedded software or firmware development experience.
• Strong experience with C++ and Linux-based systems.
• Experience with embedded system architecture and ARM-based processors.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with source control tools such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, or SVN.
