Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years' relevant experience; 6 years with Masters; 4 years with PhD; 4 years substituting for degree.
• U.S. citizen eligible for Top Secret clearance.
• Ability to obtain SAP approval within a reasonable period.
• 3 years' experience with PLM tools.
• 3 years' experience with 3D CAD modeling tools.
• 3 years' experience releasing engineering models and drawings.
• 3 years' experience releasing Model-Based Definition packages.
• GD&T interpretation familiarity.
• Strong communication across large, diverse organizations.

Responsibilities

• Join our Annapolis, MD team as a Design Checking Engineer IV.
• Learn Model Based Definition (MBD) in NX and Teamcenter in Design Support.
• Create accurate 3D CAD models and drawings in NX per ASME practices.
• Interface with multi-disciplined review teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure engineering documents and drawings are complete and accurate.
• Review drawings for accuracy, manufacturability, and assembly.
• Support continuous mechanical design process improvement.
