Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences in Irvine, CA is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Advanced Forecasting initiatives within Corporate Finance (FP&A) and analytics. You will build and operationalize statistical forecasting models, drive scenario planning, and partner with FP&A to integrate outputs into Anaplan planning workflows.

You’ll oversee model governance, validation, and playbooks, collaborate across Finance and IT to improve data pipelines, and mentor teams on AI/ML approaches and driver-based

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or Biostatistics.
• Ten years of experience, or eight years with a Master’s, or four years with a PhD.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data-driven forecasting models (time-series, AI/ML, driver-based) for key financial/operational outcomes.
• Define data-based forecasting requirements and integrate outputs into planning workflows (Anaplan).
• Create templates, dashboards, and documentation to enable adoption of statistical outputs in planning reviews.
• Establish model testing/validation routines and document assumptions, limitations, and controls.
• Collaborate with FP&A and data/IT to improve data pipelines and ensure scalable, auditable models.
