Northern Trust is seeking a Principal AI Security Architect to define and operationalize security architecture for enterprise AI platforms, agentic systems, and digital coworkers. This hands-on role requires building architecture artifacts, patterns, and reusable guidance in collaboration with engineering, data, identity, and risk teams.

The ideal candidate will lead security design reviews, translate policies into engineering requirements, and drive security foundations that enable AI adoption

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in security/enterprise/cloud architecture or related disciplines.
• Ability to produce architecture diagrams and technical design documentation.
• Experience facilitating architecture reviews with multiple stakeholder groups.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead security architecture for AI, agentic AI, cloud, SaaS, and emerging tech initiatives.
• Review designs for security requirements, risks, and improvements; develop reference architectures and patterns.
• Create reusable patterns and guidance to accelerate secure AI adoption across delivery teams.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Identity & Access Management, Security Engineering, and Ops teams.
