Job summary

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or related STEM field is required or 3 years with a Master's.
• 9 years with Bachelor's or 7 years with Master's for Sr. Principal level.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document SOPs and processes.
• Implement system enhancements for performance, reliability, and security.
• Perform security assessments to ensure NIST SP 800-53 and DoD RMF alignment.
• Analyze information systems and network devices for security impact.
• Work on cybersecurity projects per DoD instructions and policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system failures and performance issues.
• Maintain cybersecurity documentation and artifacts.
• Use endpoint protection, SIEM, and vulnerability scanners for monitoring and response.
• Participate in technical meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Support security engineering inputs to program documentation and reports.
