Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Senior Principal Cyber Systems Engineer to support the AISR&T program in Rancho Bernardo, CA. You will drive secure architectures, requirements, and implementations for mission-critical airborne ISR and tactical systems on-site, with some travel for reviews and integration events.

The role requires strong written and verbal communication, collaboration across software, hardware, and network teams, and adherence to RMF/NIST guidance.

Qualifications

• Must have a STEM degree with 4–8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in systems engineering and/or cybersecurity disciplines.
• Familiarity with government security frameworks (NIST, RMF, DoD STIGs).

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage cyber security requirements and traceability.
• Define security architectures for AISR&T programs and align with DoD guidance.
• Perform risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability analyses.
