Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Principal Configuration Data Program Lead to own configuration management, data governance, and digital workflow transformation across the program. You will drive end-to-end data control using MPLM/Teamcenter, ensuring rigor, traceability, and timely approvals for major design reviews and milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in engineering, science, or related field with substantial CM experience.
• 10+ years in configuration management or data governance in aerospace/defense.
• Hands-on with MPLM/Teamcenter or similar PLM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead CM vision and strategy aligned with customer and program standards.
• Architect and manage MPLM approval workflows for data products and drawings.
• Own configuration control of SDRLs, directives, and logbooks with traceability.
• Manage drawing numbers, issuance, updates, and change tracking.
• Configure OQE data products and data packages for major design reviews.
• Lead migration from paper to digital workflows and integrate with PLM.
• Partner with engineering, quality, contracts, and program management.
• Analyze workflow performance and drive data-driven improvement plans.
• Ensure version control and audit readiness for all program artifacts.
• Prepare for design reviews and customer data calls with accurate artifacts.
• Develop CM procedures, provide coaching, and drive best practices.
• Advise on CM and digital data workflows across the organization.
