Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Engineer to shape and sustain cloud infrastructure powering the National Space Intelligence Center at Wright-Patterson AFB. You will collaborate with senior leaders to design, implement, and enhance modern cloud capabilities that support national security.

You’ll join a high‑impact team where your ideas matter and your work ties directly to mission outcomes. A TS/SCI clearance and hands‑on cloud expertise are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certification within 60 days of start.
• Deep experience with networking, storage, Linux/Windows, and IT security concepts.
• Strong cloud platform knowledge (AWS, Azure and/or Google Cloud).
• IaC, containers, and microservices architectures expertise.
• Experience in cloud and on‑prem networking.
• 3+ years scripting in Bash or PowerShell.
• Hands‑on Agile experience with Jira/Confluence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, implement, and enhance cloud infrastructure for the National Space Intelligence Center.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and technical stakeholders for guidance and status updates.
• Participate in Agile development from design through deployment and sustainment.
• Communicate project status, risks, and blockers clearly to stakeholders.
• Drive cloud adoption, modernization, and best practices in a dynamic environment.
