Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. at NASIC, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, seeks Principal/Sr. Principal Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and automate secure cloud environments supporting DoD intelligence workloads.

You will work on Terraform/OpenTofu/Ansible-based IaC, GitLab/GitHub pipelines, and collaborate across cyber, networking, and apps teams to meet RMF requirements. Strong DoD clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s with 3 years.
• Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
• Minimum 3 years in DevOps, software development, or systems administration.
• Minimum 1 year of cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with IaC tools and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale secure AWS and Azure landing zones for NASIC workloads.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and Git-based CI/CD pipelines.
• Enforce least-privilege access, logging, auditing, and automated backups.
• Collaborate with cyber, networking, and application teams to meet RMF/STIGs.
• Mentor engineers and drive DevSecOps adoption.
