Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Senior Lead Architect to join Infrastructure Platforms - Data & Specialty Services (DSS). You will help shape governance, drive architecture decisions, and mentor engineers while delivering secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.

You will partner with Principal Architects and product teams in a hybrid environment, applying AI-enabled analysis, developing reusable patterns, and ensuring traceability and operational readiness across platforms and services.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in architecture concepts with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Experience executing governance processes (RFCs, ADRs) with auditable decisions.
• Hands-on delivery experience in production environments, including AWS and IaC (Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Execute and improve DSS architecture governance, RFCs/ADRs, traceability, and auditable decisions.
• Plan and run DSS governance forums with agenda, minutes, and coordination.
• Drive architecture decisions affecting product design, security, cost, and resiliency.
• Develop architecture models, reusable patterns, and reference implementations.
• Apply enterprise AI capabilities to architecture analysis with human-in-the-loop validation.
• Provide guidance to product, engineering, operations, security, risk, and vendor teams.
• Remain hands-on with at least one programming language and CI/CD tooling; contribute to prototypes and automation.
• Mentor colleagues and promote reuse of patterns and tooling.
