Job summary

Ares Management is seeking a senior leader for our Alternative Credit business in New York. You will drive deal origination, cultivate bank and advisory relationships, and develop strategic partnerships to broaden sourcing and investment opportunities.

The role emphasizes branding, market color, and collaboration with insurance companies, pensions, asset managers, and other institutions to scale capital across portfolios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or international equivalent required.
• Minimum 10-15+ years’ experience at a top investment firm or similar organization.
• Strong finance and accounting knowledge; excellent writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships within banks, advisors, asset managers and lending platforms to increase deal flow.
• Source opportunities across public and private credit; coordinate investment processes.
• Develop strategic partnerships/JVs to expand deal sourcing channels and investment scale.
