Job summary

Micron Technology in Manassas, VA is seeking a Manufacturing Alignment Engineer (CVD/CMP) to shape how manufacturing runs across the network. You will build alignment programs, drive standardization of best-known methods, and partner with technical teams globally to enhance speed, quality, cost, and equipment performance.

Your role involves leading global improvements, coordinating ESTA activities, and advancing process control while supporting travel to worldwide sites.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience as a Process or Equipment Owner in CVD or CMP.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Strong understanding of process and equipment systems, methods, and tools.
• Experience coordinating or leading site and global teams.
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally.
• Experience and/or interest in developing Agentic AI workflows into current or future processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of alignment programs to standardize BKMs, improve efficiency, and elevate manufacturing performance.
• Drive improvements in tool utilization, idle tool shutdown practices, POR–MOR gap closure, and global BKM deployment.
• Coordinate ESTA activities, recipe alignment, mismatch reduction, and defect improvement across technologies.
• Align PM procedures, qualifications, scrap reduction efforts, and recurrence prevention practices.
• Partner with global teams to define standards, implement improvements, and track progress to leadership.
