AspenTech seeks a Senior Principal Technical Support Engineer to join our Advanced Process Control software support and training team. You will resolve complex technical issues, deliver expert guidance, and provide training to AspenTech APC customers using Aspen DMC3 and Aspen GDOT.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s in chemical engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of relevant process control experience in industry.
- Experience with AspenTech DMC3/GDOT in real-world plants is highly valued.
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills are essential.
- Travel up to 25% is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide loyalty-inspiring customer service that drives user engagement and sustains product usage
- Troubleshoot & resolve complex technical issues and document in CRM
- Escalate issues and drive cross-functional resolution
- Deliver intermediate/advanced training classes for AspenTech APC customers
- Develop training materials for new releases and applications
- Conduct pre-sales consultations to identify customer needs and opportunities
- Build strong customer relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Mentor teammates to enhance technical skills and contributions
- Support health checks, onsite deployments, and knowledge base publications
