Job summary

Nomura Holdings, Inc. in New York seeks an experienced VP of US Prime Product Control to oversee P&L, controls and governance for a key Prime Finance business line. You will partner with front-office, Treasury, and Finance to ensure robust financial control and accurate reporting.

The role requires deep product knowledge across Cash Prime Brokerage, Synthetic Prime Brokerage and Equity Finance, and a proven track record in leading teams and delivering process improvements within a global bank.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Product Control experience with Prime Finance focus.
• Experience working with front-office and senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of financing valuation, accounting treatment and resource metrics.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Economics/Accounting; CPA/CFA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily and monthly P&L for US Prime Finance; sign-off on reconciliations and balance sheet attestation.
• Interact with trade desk, Treasury, Middle Office/Ops, IT, Market Risk, Financial Reporting and Audit.
• Analyze FTP and balance sheet drivers; explain day-to-day variances for business decisions.
