Responsibilities

• Manage daily substantiation and reporting of P&L for Prime Brokerage.
• Provide deep-dive analysis on Net Interest Margin attribution and corporate actions.
• Monitor and optimize the Prime Brokerage balance sheet focusing on HQLA.
• Oversee Independent Price Verification for client collateral.
• Ensure compliance with SEC Rule 15c3-3 and 15c3-1.
• Lead workstreams for seamless integration of firm's platforms.
• Evaluate profitability of new client mandates with the Head of Prime Services.

Job description

• Financing P&L Ownership: Manage the daily substantiation and reporting of P&L for Prime Brokerage, including Stock Loan/Borrow, Synthetic Prime (Swaps), and Margin Financing.
• Revenue Attribution: Provide deep-dive analysis on "Net Interest Margin" (NIM), attribution of borrow/lend spreads, and the impact of corporate actions on the financing books.
• Balance Sheet & Liquidity Oversight: Monitor and optimize the Prime Brokerage balance sheet, focusing on HQLA (High-Quality Liquid Assets), leverage ratios, and capital consumption.
• Collateral Control & IPV: Oversee the Independent Price Verification (IPV) for all client collateral. Ensure that haircuts and margin valuations are consistent with market data and internal risk policies.
• Regulatory Compliance: Serve as the subject matter expert for SEC Rule 15c3-3 (Customer Protection) and 15c3-1 (Net Capital), ensuring client assets are appropriately segregated and reported.
• Strategic Integration: Lead finance-related workstreams for the integration of the firms platforms, ensuring seamless migration of Prime clients and data integrity across systems.
• Advisory to the Desk: Partner with the Head of Prime Services to evaluate the profitability of new client mandates and the impact of changing interest rate environments on the business.
