Job summary

MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group is seeking a Senior Project Controls Analyst to own pipeline and facility construction schedules in Tulsa, Oklahoma, using Primavera P6 and WBS templates. This on-site, 6-month contract role requires strong CPM skills and experience managing baselines.

You will lead baseline creation, update schedules, monitor CPM, report progress, and communicate risks to the project team, working with energy-sector contractors on complex projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project scheduling and planning experience.
• Hands-on Primavera P6 experience developing, maintaining, updating and baselining project schedules.
• Strong command of CPM, schedule impact analysis and recovery planning.
• Solid understanding of WBS, project scope and the cost estimates.
• Experience with baseline management, progress updates, forecasting and schedule variance reporting.
• Experience reviewing contractor schedules and progress submittals.
• Knowledge of construction-phase scheduling: permitting, land, survey and construction sequencing.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction or business, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and approval of baseline schedules with the project team, and manage baselines at each project gate.
• Develop, maintain and update Primavera P6 schedules for capital projects, using the standard template and WBS.
• Run monthly (and weekly during construction) progress updates, revise forecasts and evaluate the impact of delays.
• Identify and manage the critical path (CPM), and work with the project team on workarounds and mitigation plans.
• Plan the sequence of all project phases, including permitting, land acquisition, survey and construction.
• Review contractor baseline schedules and progress updates for compliance with project controls requirements.
• Produce and publish schedule reports: critical path, 2–4 week lookahead, milestone and schedule variance reports.
• Communicate schedule status and key risk areas to the project management team.
