MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group is seeking a Senior Project Controls Analyst to own pipeline and facilities construction schedules in Tulsa, OK, using Primavera P6. The role involves baselining, updating, and reporting on critical path and risks for a major energy project on-site.

You will lead schedule creation, monitor progress weekly during construction, and coordinate with multiple contractors to ensure alignment with project scope and milestones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project scheduling and planning experience.
• Hands-on Primavera P6 experience developing, maintaining and baselining project schedules.
• Strong command of Critical Path Method (CPM), schedule impact analysis and recovery planning.
• Solid understanding of WBS, project scope and the corresponding cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and approval of baseline schedules with the project team, and manage baselines at each project gate.
• Develop, maintain and update Primavera P6 schedules for capital projects, using the standard template and WBS.
• Run monthly (and, during construction, weekly) progress updates, revise forecasts and evaluate the impact of delays.
• Identify and manage the critical path (CPM), and work with the project team on workarounds and mitigation plans.
• Plan the sequence of all project phases, including permitting, land acquisition, survey and construction.
• Review contractor baseline schedules and progress updates for compliance with project controls requirements.
• Produce and publish schedule reports: critical path, 2–4 week lookahead, milestone and schedule variance reports.
• Communicate schedule status and key risk areas to the project management team.
