Job summary

Bell Flavors & Fragrances Inc. in Northbrook, IL seeks a Senior Pricing Analyst to develop and support pricing strategies for domestic and international customers.

You will analyze cost data, market conditions, and customer requirements to recommend profitable pricing and oversee pricing within the D365 ERP system. The role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, cost analysis, business analytics, or a related discipline.
• Experience with custom-manufactured product pricing preferred.
• Experience in specialty chemical, ingredients, flavors, fragrances, food, or related manufacturing industries preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills with large data sets, pivot tables, data analysis, and financial models.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or a comparable ERP system preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing collaborations with Sales, Technical, Finance, and other teams to develop competitive item pricing.
• Maintain and validate customer pricing within the D365 ERP system for accuracy and timely implementation.
• Develop and maintain tiered pricing structures to optimize profitability.
• Lead semi-annual pricing reviews and recommend adjustments based on cost, market trends, and customer needs.
• Monitor cost drivers and market fluctuations and assess impact on margins and profitability.
• Create reporting, dashboards, and analytical tools from pricing data to support decisions.
• Support pricing initiatives and changes across the organization.
• Evaluate pricing scenarios and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership.
• Identify pricing risks and opportunities for process improvements.
• Serve as pricing SME and guide internal teams on processes and tools.
