Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Pricing Cost Estimating Manager 2 to lead and mentor a team of pricing analysts, oversee cost proposals, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and government regulations. The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of pricing or business experience (or advanced degree) and an active DoD clearance; travel is limited and the position sits onsite.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus 8 years pricing/Business experience, or a master's degree plus 6 years of Pricing and/or Business experience.
Experience with FAR/DFARS and other applicable government regulations.
Experience in pricing, contracts, or business management.
Experience with U.S. Government and International proposals.
Experience with validation of estimates, estimating approaches, customer negotiations, and data driven estimating.
Must have an active DoD Secret or Top-Secret clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).

Responsibilities

Lead a high performing team of Pricing Analysts, provide guidance and ensure the continued development of staff.
Provide/ensure reviews of all proposal pricing prior to delivery and senior executive reviews.
Lead pricing analyses and support strategy development for major proposals.
Interact with management across divisions to ensure compliance and schedule adherence.
Represent the Division for major proposals and initiatives within Pricing and Business Management.
Coordinate with MDC2 senior management and proposal teams on pricing requirements, obligations, and risk.
