Job summary

Vaco by Highspring seeks a Senior Pricing Analyst to lead pricing analytics for automotive vehicle transportation. You will own pricing across a wide network of lanes, build data-driven models, and develop dashboards for faster decision-making.

The role requires 5+ years in pricing analytics within automotive logistics, advanced Excel, Power BI, and preferably Python. You will collaborate with Finance, Data Science, and Operations to optimize profitability while staying competitive.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pricing analytics experience within automotive transportation/logistics.
• Direct experience in auto transportation; general freight experience will not meet the requirement.
• Strong analytical background with ability to work through large datasets and translate findings into pricing recommendations.
• Advanced Excel; experience with Power BI; Python or similar analytics is a plus.

Vaco has partnered with a growing vehicle transportation technology company looking to enhance its pricing strategy and analytics capabilities. They are seeking an experienced Senior Pricing Analyst with a strong background in automotive transportation and vehicle logistics.

Job Title: Senior Pricing Analyst - Automotive Transportation

Location: Remote

Pay Range: $100,000-$125,000 annual salary

Responsibilities

• Own pricing analysis across a large network of vehicle transportation lanes, helping determine competitive customer rates while protecting profitability.
• Evaluate transportation costs and market changes, including carrier pricing, fuel costs, route activity, capacity, and other factors that impact the cost of moving vehicles.

• Strong analytical background with the ability to work through large datasets, identify patterns, and translate findings into actionable pricing recommendations.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with analytical and reporting tools such as Power BI; Python, data science, or similar advanced analytics experience is a plus.
