Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst for automotive transportation to optimize pricing across a large network of vehicle transport lanes. You will leverage data to set competitive customer rates while protecting profitability.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in pricing analytics within automotive logistics, strong Excel and Power BI skills, and familiarity with Python. You will partner with Finance, Data Science, and Operations to translate insights into actionable strategies

Qualifications

5+ years of pricing analytics experience within automotive transportation or vehicle logistics.
Experience with pricing factors in auto transportation and cost drivers.
Strong analytical ability to translate data into pricing recommendations.
Proficiency with Excel and data analytics tools; Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own pricing analysis across a large network of vehicle transportation lanes to set competitive customer rates while protecting profitability.
Evaluate transportation costs, carrier pricing, fuel costs, route activity, capacity and other cost drivers.
Analyze large datasets to identify pricing trends, margin opportunities, and lanes needing adjustments.
Develop pricing models, reporting, and dashboards to enable data-driven pricing decisions.
Collaborate with Finance, Data Science, and Operations to translate insights into actionable pricing strategies.
