Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Pricing Analyst to join the Pricing team. The Central Pricing Team collaborates with Pricing Managers, Business Units, Product Marketing Managers, Finance, and Sales to execute pricing strategies for new product launches, maintain existing products, and develop data products for reporting and analytics. The team provides global product and pricing information to internal stakeholders and works with upstream and downstream teams to ensure offer pricing readiness. Besides business-as-usual activities, the team also focuses on automation, pricing transformation projects, and analytics initiatives.

About the Role:

As a Senior Pricing Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Deploying pricing models and reporting practices to ensure consistency and support better decision-making across the business.
  2. Collaborating with other Analysts and Managers to standardize, centralize, and optimize pricing processes, and to develop analytics frameworks and high-impact strategies.
  3. Partnering with Commercial Excellence, Segment, Product Marketing, and Finance teams to implement pricing strategies and monitor relevant metrics.
  4. Focusing on standardized analytics, pricing operations, and reporting that can be deployed across the organization, including developing templates and workflows.
  5. Managing end-to-end pricing operations for specific product lines, ensuring delivery of metrics and process efficiency through close collaboration with pricing, operations, and systems teams.
  6. Documenting pricing processes and applying critical thinking to projects involving process redesign and standardization.
  7. Developing standardized price performance reports, investigating data anomalies, and presenting insights to improve pricing effectiveness.
  8. Extracting, validating, and cleaning raw data for analysis.
  9. Supporting the development and maintenance of flexible pricing models, price books, and discount guidelines, ensuring effective delivery through various teams and systems.
  10. Assisting in defining and implementing consistent pricing policies, models, standards, and best practices across the organization.
  11. Supporting ad hoc investigations and projects aimed at pricing improvements.
About You:

You are suitable for this role if you have:

  1. A Bachelor’s degree.
  2. 6-8 years of experience in pricing operations, data analytics, order management, or deal management, with a focus on data operations and analysis.
  3. Knowledge of data analysis, ETL processes, and data table structures.
  4. Experience with Excel, PowerBI/Tableau, Alteryx, Business Objects, and SQL.
  5. Experience managing cross-functional projects and SaaS experience is preferred.
  6. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders, including senior management.
  7. A proactive, continuous learning, and problem-solving mindset.
  8. Shift timings from 2 PM to 11 PM IST and mandatory work from the office 2 days a week.
