Job summary

Leonardo DRS is seeking a senior cost proposal professional in Florida to review and craft responses to RFPs, and to work with internal teams to determine labor, overhead, material costs, and bid strategies. The role involves analyzing estimates, negotiating proposals, and advising leadership on compliance with RFPs, FAR, CAS, and disclosure requirements.

The position emphasizes establishing schedules, modeling costs, and supporting pricing narratives, risk assessments, and management briefings

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance with 8+ years directly related experience, preferably in a government contracting environment (or equivalent combination of education/training and experience)

Responsibilities

• Establish and coordinate schedules, monitor and accelerate problems, develop cost/price models.
• Assist with pricing cost narrative, price strategy, risk assessment, business case analysis, and preparation/presentation of management briefings
• Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
