Job summary

The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) seeks a Senior Prevention Programs Manager to lead statewide prevention initiatives, MTSS for schools, and related prevention services from the Central Office in Oklahoma City. The role emphasizes fiscal stewardship, program oversight, and compliance with ODMHSAS standards.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in a relevant field with extensive program management and supervisory experience, including budget oversight.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in public health, social work, psychology, or related field with five years of program management experience.
• Two years of supervisory experience and one-year budget oversight.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience allowed.
• Note: No substitution for bachelor's degree or supervision/budget oversight requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide fiscal and programmatic oversight for prevention services.
• Develop, plan, organize, facilitate, direct, and oversee MTSS for schools.
• Coordinate Higher Education Based Prevention Services and Faith-based Prevention Services.
